🌍 Who Can Apply?
To qualify, applicants must:
- Hold citizenship from a country with diplomatic ties to Japan
(Japanese nationals are not eligible, except dual-nationals planning to renounce Japanese citizenship). - Be born on or after April 2, 1991
- Have good physical and mental health
- Be able to obtain a student visa and enter Japan in September 2026
- Achieve CGPA ≥ 2.30/3.00 based on MEXT’s GPA calculation
(Don’t calculate yourself — the university will do this after your application) - For English-taught programmes:
Show proof of English ability at CEFR B2 level or higher,
OR have completed your most recent degree in English
