Oladipupo Siwajuola, a student at Babcock University in Ilisan-Remo, Ogun State, has been formally expelled after being accused of drug trafficking, using fetish drugs, and other grave offenses.
Following a public outcry by the student’s mother, who accused the institution of incompetence when he went missing on social media on May 3, the disciplinary action was taken. The school responded by giving a thorough account of what transpired before the student was fired.
“Not only do these behaviours violate our student code of conduct, but they also go against our core values as a faith-based institution,” Dr. Suleiman said.
With immediate effect, the institution removed Oladipupo, citing its dedication to student safety and moral discipline. According to the student handbook, he has the right to appeal the decision.
In closing, the institution reaffirmed its commitment to character development, academic success, and parental cooperation in promoting student responsibility.
