Determined 26-year-old Ayale Williams became the first lawyer in her family after passing the New York Bar Exam with remarkable scores, marking a significant personal milestone.

After a touching video of her and her mother responding to the findings was shown on Good Morning America, her achievement went global. Ayale attributed her success to her faith, tenacity, and her family’s everlasting support, particularly from her mother.

Highlights of the Academic and Professional Life

Sociology and Criminal Justice Bachelor’s Degree, University of Albany, New York
Juris Doctor degree from NCCU School of Law; bar exam: passed the UBE with a high mark, making her eligible to practice law in many countries.

Ayale, who is now a first-generation lawyer and immigrant, claims that this triumph is more than herself and that it signifies success and optimism for her whole community.
