The management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has officially announced the extension of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME online screening exercise. Initially scheduled to close earlier, the portal will now remain open until Sunday, September 14, 2025, giving prospective candidates additional time to complete their registration. This extension is a golden opportunity for all UTME and Direct Entry applicants who selected BUK as their first choice to ensure they meet all screening requirements, including eligibility verification, payment of fees, and mandatory O’level upload on JAMB CAPS.

Who’s Eligible
- UTME candidates who chose BUK and scored ≥160.
- Some programmes require higher cut-offs: 190, 200, 220, or 240.
- Awaiting O’level candidates may apply (but see O’level upload rule below).
- Blind and foreign candidates are exempt from the Aptitude Test—but must complete online registration.
Mandatory O’level Upload (JAMB CAPS)
JAMB will not clear any shortlisted candidate without O’level on CAPS.
→ Visit a JAMB Office/Accredited CBT centre to upload WAEC/NECO/NABTEB (max two sittings).
Test Date/Time/Venue
BUK will communicate your Aptitude Test schedule via the phone number and/or email linked to your JAMB profile.
