For students who want to graduate from the university but have beyond the authorized regulated period of the studentship (6 and 8 years), the vice chancellor has authorized a university-wide mop-up examination.

Students who have not taken an exam and failed it in the past shouldn’t be permitted to take a mop-up test in such courses.
To fully pay for the sessional school fees, students should enroll in no more than 30 credit units in the mop-up. Each extra course, up to a maximum of ten (or a number decided by the management), shall cost 10,000 naira (₦10,000.00).
The mop-up examination is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 14, 2025, and last through Saturday, July 19.
