Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) has opened its gates for fresh undergraduates. For this cycle, there’s no written exam—only screening. If you meet the requirements, you’re in the running.

Key Dates & Highlights

  • Screening starts: Wednesday, 13 August 2025
  • UTME score: 150+ (and you can change first choice to EKSU on JAMB CAPS)
  • Eligible pipelines: EKSU Pre-Degree and JUPEB (with a minimum of 7 points; IJMB not accepted)
  • Awaiting result? Wait for WAEC/NECO/NABTEB to drop, then apply.

Course Cut-Offs (Benchmarks)

  • Medicine & Surgery: 260
  • Law: 250
  • Doctor of Pharmacy: 240
  • Nursing Science: 230
  • Medical Laboratory Science: 220
  • Mass Communication: 200
  • Engineering: 180

Who Can Apply

  • O’Level: At least five (5) credits in relevant subjects (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) in not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry (DE):

  • Engineering: Upper Credit from a polytechnic.
  • Other programmes: Lower Credit minimum.
  • Education programmes: NCE with Credit/Merit in relevant subjects.
  • Transcripts: Ask your institution to send to admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng on or before 31 October 2025.

Step-by-Step Application

  1. Visit the EKSU application portal and click ADMISSION.
  2. Sign up with an active email and phone number; verify via the email sent to you.
  3. Log in with your email or JAMB Reg. Number (username) and your password.
  4. Select 2025/2026 PUTME Application and enter your JAMB Number.
    • If EKSU is already your first choice, your details will auto-populate; otherwise, fill them in.
  5. Click PAY NOW to pay the screening fee online.
  6. After payment, the form opens:
    • Upload a 1″×1″ coloured passport on a red background (JPEG).
    • Add your O’Level results (max two sittings—WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
  7. Preview → Confirm → Submit → Print your screening form.

Important Reminders

  • NECO holders (UTME): Generate your NECO Result Verification Token and email it to admissions.verification@eksu.edu.ng.
  • No screening = no admission.
  • False information = automatic disqualification.
