The Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee has introduced the Excellence in Tax Reform Reporting Award, a national recognition program designed to honor journalists, influencers, and digital creators who help Nigerians understand the country’s ongoing tax reforms. The award encourages accurate, balanced, and clear reporting that promotes public trust and informed dialogue.

About the Award
The initiative aims to highlight media professionals who explain tax policies in ways that everyday citizens can understand. Furthermore, it supports storytellers who encourage accountability, transparency, and civic participation.
During the unveiling, Chairman Taiwo Oyedele emphasized that the media plays a critical role in shaping national conversations. Therefore, the committee seeks to collaborate with content creators who can present tax reforms objectively and responsibly.

Eligibility
The Award is open to:
- Journalists in print, radio, television, and online media.
- Digital influencers, bloggers, YouTubers, podcasters, and social media educators.
Entry Requirements
To qualify for consideration:
- Entries must be published between 1 July and 31 December 2025.
- Accepted formats include written articles, video explainers, radio or podcast features, and online educational content.
- Submissions may be in English, Pidgin, Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba; however, local language submissions must include an English translation.
- Video and audio entries must be no longer than 10 minutes.
- Content must be factual, balanced, and educational.

The Award offers significant compensation and visibility:
