Federal Polytechnic, Ugep in Cross River State, has officially opened its Post-UTME screening for National Diploma (ND) admission into the 2025/2026 academic session. If you want to study at Ugep this year, this guide gives you all the important information in a simple and student-friendly format.
Application Dates
The application window is open from Monday, 14 July to Friday, 19 November 2025.
There will be no extension, so early application is strongly advised.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the screening, applicants must:
✔ Be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025
✔ Sit for the 2025 UTME
✔ Score a minimum of 100
✔ Upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS
✔ Choose Federal Polytechnic Ugep as first choice
Didn’t choose Ugep initially?
You can still apply — just do a Change of Institution on JAMB Portal before 30 September 2025.
How the Screening Will Be Done
There will be no written exam.
Screening is based only on your O’Level results.
➡ If your O’Level is not uploaded to JAMB CAPS, the school will not process your application, so make sure it’s uploaded correctly.
How to Apply
Follow the steps below:
- Pay ₦2,000 (non-refundable) Post-UTME fee
- Use Remita with GIFMIS code 0517018031
or pay directly at the Polytechnic’s Bursary Department - Check that you meet your course’s O’Level subject requirements
- Ensure five credits, including English and Mathematics, plus relevant subjects for your department
- Submit your application before 19 November 2025
