A fire on Sunday destroyed properties worth millions of naira at the Deeper Life Campus Ground, Sogunro, along the Ibadan/Oyo Expressway.

How the Fire Started
Eyewitnesses said the blaze began in a hall used as both a kitchen and storage area.
The Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, Hon. Maroof Akinwande, confirmed that a gas leak triggered the outbreak.
“Our officers met the hall already in flames,” Akinwande said. “They acted swiftly and stopped the fire from spreading to other buildings. Thankfully, no lives were lost.”
