Good news: The Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB) has extended its online Post-UTME/DE screening. The new closing date is 11:59 p.m., Sunday, October 19, 2025. If you haven’t finished your application, now’s your chance—no further extensions will follow.
You’ll find the screening portal under the Admissions menu at futb.edu.ng.
Who Can Apply
O’Level (all candidates)
- At least five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or equivalent).
UTME candidates
- Minimum UTME score: 150.
- If you didn’t choose FUT Babura as First Choice, first change institution to FUTB on your JAMB profile, then apply.

Direct Entry (DE) candidates
- Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) and 6 points in IJMB (or equivalent).
How to Apply (Step-by-Step)
- Go to the portal: Visit futb.edu.ng → Admissions → Post-UTME/DE Portal.
- Check eligibility: Enter your JAMB Registration Number on the course display table.
- Review requirements: If eligible, your course appears. Click More information to see requirements, fee, duration, and closing date.
- Start application: Click Apply Now.
- Create an account:
- Sign up with Google, or
- Sign up manually: fill the form → click Create account → enter the activation code sent to your email → Confirm.
- Log in & pay: Sign in, proceed to payment, and complete the transaction online.
- Fill the form: Click Proceed to Application Form, complete all sections, then Preview & Submit.
- Done: You’ll see a confirmation that your application was submitted successfully.
Tip: Use the Next button to move between sections. Pre-filled fields can’t be edited.
How to Check Payment Status
- On your dashboard, open Transaction History.
- Check the Status column.
- If it shows Pending but you’ve been debited, click the three dots (⋮) next to the transaction → Check Status → Try again. The status should refresh to Successful once confirmed.
Key Reminders
- Deadline: Sunday, October 19, 2025 (11:59 p.m.).
- First Choice: UTME/DE applicants must have FUTB as First Choice on JAMB before screening.
- Documents: Ensure your O’Level/DE records are correctly uploaded on JAMB CAPS at an accredited CBT centre.
- Official portal only: Apply only via futb.edu.ng. Don’t pay third parties or “agents.”
