FUTIA Admission List for 2025/2026 Academic Session is Out

The Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi (FUTIA) has officially released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. This update is for all candidates who took part in the admission screening exercise and are eager to confirm their admission status.

How to Check FUTIA Admission Status

At the moment, you can only confirm your admission through the JAMB CAPS portal. Follow the steps below carefully:

1. Visit the JAMB E-Facility Portal.
2. Login using your JAMB username and password.
3. Scroll down and click on Check Admission Status.
4. Select Access my CAPS.
5. Finally, click on Admission Status to see if you have been offered admission.

What the JAMB CAPS Messages Mean

• CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 – You have been offered admission. Go ahead and accept or reject it immediately.
• ADMISSION IN PROGRESS – Your admission is still being processed, so check back regularly.
• NOT ADMITTED – Don’t panic. FUTIA releases its list in batches, so you may still gain admission later.

Next Steps for Successful Candidates

Once you confirm your admission, take these important steps:

• Accept your admission on JAMB CAPS without delay.
• Head over to the FUTIA Portal at portal.futia.edu.ng to pay your acceptance fee.

By doing this promptly, you secure your place in the university and avoid last-minute issues.

Make sure you present both originals and photocopies of the following:

• Acceptance Fee Receipt
• Original JAMB Result Slip
• Original JAMB Admission Letter
• O’level Result(s)
• First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
• Birth Certificate / Age Declaration
• Twelve (12) Passport Photographs
• Attestation Letter (from a Clergy, Senior Civil Servant, or Village Head)
• Certificate of Origin
• FUTIA Bio-Data/Application Form
• FUTIA Screening Fee Receipt

Important Information for Candidates

• FUTIA publishes admission lists in batches. Therefore, if your name is missing now, continue checking your JAMB CAPS.
• In case of difficulties, visit the Admissions Officer at the University premises for help.
• Importantly, FUTIA does not approve admission agents or request cash payments. As a result, ensure you pay only through the official FUTIA portal.
