The management of the Gombe State College of Nursing Sciences (College of Nursing and Midwifery) has officially announced the commencement of the online sales of application forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. Interested applicants can now apply into any of the following programmes:

Available Programmes

1. Post Basic HND in Nursing (2 Years)
   • Open to Registered Male or Female Nurses (RN) or Female Midwives (RM) with a current practicing licence.
2. Post Basic Public Health Nursing (2 Years)
   • Open to Registered Male or Female Nurses (RN) or Female Midwives (RM) with a current practicing licence.
3. ND/HND Nursing (4 Years)
   • Open to Registered Female Nurses (RN) or Midwives (RM).
   • Must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO or NABTEB with at least five credits (English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) in not more than two sittings.
   • Note: NABTEB results cannot be combined with other results. All five credits must be in NABTEB if used.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold valid Notification of Registration as RN or RM with a current licence.
• Provide all required academic credentials and certificates.
• Attach Local Government Indigene Certificate and Birth/Declaration of Age Certificate.

How to Apply

1. Visit the portal: https://portal.consgombe.edu.ng
2. Create an account using a valid email and phone number.
3. Select your preferred programme.
4. Make payment through the designated payment platform:
   • Post Basic HND & Public Health Nursing: ₦20,000 (excluding e-service charges).
   • ND/HND Nursing: ₦5,000 (excluding e-service charges).
5. Complete the online application form.
6. Upload all required documents.
7. Print your application slip with the completed form.
8. Submit the completed form with two passport photographs to the ICT Unit of the College immediately.

Documents to Attach:

• Two (2) certified recent passport photographs.
• Photocopies of credentials (primary and secondary school certificates, result printouts).
• Photocopy of form purchase receipt.
• Local Government Indigene Certificate.
• Birth/Declaration of Age Certificate.
• Notification of Registration as RN or RM with current practising licence (for Post Basic applicants).

• Closing of Form Sales: Thursday, 25th September 2025 (midnight)
• Deadline for Submission of Completed Forms: Friday, 26th September 2025
• Physical Screening/Oral Interview: Thursday, 2nd – Friday, 3rd October 2025
