The management of Gombe State University (GSU) has announced that the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session will begin on Monday, 1st October, 2025 and close on Monday, 13th October, 2025.

Originally, the exercise was scheduled to end earlier. However, the portal has been re-opened for two weeks to allow eligible candidates more time to complete both online and physical screening.
👉 Important: Any candidate who skips either the online or physical screening will lose the chance of admission.
Eligibility for GSU Post-UTME 2025/2026
To qualify for the screening, candidates must:
- Choose GSU as their First Choice on the JAMB portal.
- Score a minimum of 150 points in UTME for most programmes.
- Achieve at least 200 points in UTME for Medicine, Pharmacy, and Law.
- Score at least 190 points for Public Health.
- Obtain at least 180 points for Computer Science, Physiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

Change of Programme Advice
- Candidates who applied for Law but scored below 200 should switch to courses such as:
- B.LIS Library & Information Science
- B.Ed Educational Management
- B.Sc Banking and Finance
- B.Sc International Relations
- B.Sc Peace and Conflict Resolution
- Similarly, those who applied for MBBS or Pharmacy but scored below 200 should switch to programmes like:
- B.N.Sc Nursing
- B.Sc Human Nutrition & Dietetics
- B.Sc Public Health
- B.Sc Biotechnology
- B.Sc Pharmacology
- B.Sc Industrial Chemistry
- B.Sc Environmental Chemistry & Toxicology
For Direct Entry, candidates must hold NCE, IJMB, A’ Level GCE, or Diploma qualifications.
Screening Fee
The GSU Post-UTME form costs only ₦2,000.
How to Apply for GSU Post-UTME Form
To apply, follow these steps carefully:
- Visit the portal 👉 http://gsu-edu.com/admission.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and PIN.
- Login and complete the registration form.
- Click Register to generate your data form.
- Print the PDF file that contains:
- Page One: Registration details.
- Page Two: Post-UTME ID Card.
- Attach photocopies of your credentials to Page One and bring both pages, along with originals, for physical screening.
📌 Note: Your screening date will appear on your Post-UTME ID card.
Physical Screening Guidelines
During physical screening:
- Bring both originals and photocopies of your credentials.
- Avoid bringing phones, bags, or other gadgets into the screening hall.
- Remember that changes to State of Origin, LGA, or Date of Birth will not be allowed after registration.
Upload of O’Level Results
In addition, all UTME and DE candidates must upload their O’Level (and A’Level, where applicable) results to the JAMB CAPS portal at an accredited CBT centre. Candidates using “Awaiting Result” must also complete this upload before they can be considered for admission.

📢 Final Note: Candidates should regularly check their emails and phone numbers. Furthermore, the University will send details of the Post-UTME CBT test directly to them.
