Igbinedion University, the top private university in Nigeria, has made a major administrative announcement: Mr. Ahola Orgeh will take over as Registrar on July 1, 2025. The appointment comes after Mr. Friday Benji Bakare, the departing Registrar, completed his term.
His professional affiliations, which include membership in the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), the Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA), the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), and the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria (FCAI) as a Fellow, enhance his academic credentials.
The university community is hopeful about Mr. Orgeh’s leadership and expects his creative administrative approaches to further improve the school’s standing internationally. “We are sure that Mr. Orgeh’s extensive experience and commitment to excellence will drive administrative efficiency and reinforce our commitment to academic and institution advancement,” the university stated in a statement.
On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Mr. Orgeh, a native of Adim-Akp in Otukpo LGA, Benue State, is scheduled to formally take office.
