IMSU Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out

This is to inform all prospective students of Imo State University (IMSU) that the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released. Candidates can now check their admission status both on the JAMB portal and the IMSU admission portal.

How to Check IMSU Admission Status

Through JAMB CAPS Portal

At the time of this update, the IMSU admission list is available only on the JAMB CAPS Portal and the JAMB Admission Checking Portal. To check:

1. Go to JAMB CAPS Portal.
2. Log in with your registered email address and password.
3. Scroll down and click Check Admission Status.
4. Select Access my CAPS.
5. Click Admission Status to view your result.
6. If you are using a phone, select the three-dotted menu (⋮) on your browser and tick Desktop site for a complete view.

You will see one of the following messages:

• Case 1: CONGRATULATIONS… – Accept or reject your admission and wait for further instructions.
• Case 2: Admission in Progress… – Be patient; your status may change in a few days or weeks.
• Case 3: Not Admitted – Don’t give up yet! More lists may be released.

Through IMSU Admission Portal

You can also confirm your status on the IMSU portal:

1. Visit IMSU Admission Portal.
2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
3. Click Check to view your admission status.

How to Verify IMSU New Student Account

Although the procedure below was used last session, it is likely to apply again this year:

1. Visit IMSU Official Website.
2. Click on the Portal link.
3. Select Verify Account.
4. Choose New Student and enter your JAMB registration number.
5. Click Verify to confirm your account.
6. Log in with the username and password displayed.

Once verified, you can proceed to pay your IMSU acceptance fee.
