During a press briefing in Lokoja on Wednesday, Professor Ogbo described the development as “a serious threat to the Polytechnic’s integrity and reputation.”
According to him, investigations carried out by the Admissions, ICT, and Security Units revealed a network of individuals — including students, non-students, and staff — who allegedly created and sold forged National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) certificates for financial gain.
Furthermore, he disclosed that while several staff members had already been suspended, others linked to the scheme — including Mr. Dominic Egwuda — are still on the run.
