As it marks its 35th anniversary, the Lagos State University Students’ Union (LASUSU) has renewed its commitment to advancing student welfare, leadership, and inclusivity.

LASUSU President Joldie Adebobola gave a speech during a press conference to begin the anniversary week, reflecting on the union’s history and outlining important achievements during his tenure.
“This anniversary is a call to continue serving our community with passion and purpose—it’s not just a celebration of history,” he said.

A keynote address with the topic “Redefining Student Leadership in the 21st Century: Challenges and Prospects” is part of the week-long event.
Activities on Sports Day that promote harmony and wellbeing
A lively cultural festival that celebrates student identity and heritage is Ojude LASU.
