A Nigerian mother has left many social media users in stitches after sharing how her young daughter confidently failed a Christian Religious Studies (CRS) exam by insisting that Jesus was born in Nigeria.
According to the mother, who posted the incident on TikTok via @toviaofure1, the little girl did excellently in all her subjects but missed one CRS question because she relocated the birthplace of Jesus from Bethlehem to Nigeria — and said it with full conviction!
How It All Happened
In the viral video, the mum quizzed her daughter at home to find out if the mistake was intentional. The girl correctly answered several Bible-related questions. However, when asked again where Jesus was born, she confidently replied:
“Jesus was born in Nigeria.”
Her mother burst into laughter, joking that her daughter must have moved Jesus from Bethlehem to Lagos.
