A 6-year-old British boy, Jayce Joyce, from Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, has amazed the world with his extraordinary brilliance and creativity. He has officially joined British Mensa, the world’s oldest high-IQ society, as one of the top 0.1% smartest children globally. Even more impressively, Jayce is already the youngest person to publish a book series simultaneously, a record-setting feat that has gained him international recognition.

Jayce’s Early Genius: How It All Started
Jayce showed signs of advanced intelligence as early as two years old, reading books and writing short words with ease. By age three, he was creating full scripts of daily family activities and posting them around his neighborhood.
His mother, Anim, recalls:
“By the time he was three, he could write an entire script of what had happened that day.”
Encouraged by parents of other gifted children, Anim supported Jayce in publishing two books— “A Beach With No Sea” and “Jayce’s Sweet Tooth”. Both were released on World Book Day 2023, when Jayce was just four years old.
Academic Brilliance Confirmed
On his very first day of school, Jayce surprised teachers by writing detailed notes about classmates and instructors. Assessments revealed he had the reading level of a 6-year-old and the writing skills of a 7-year-old—all at just four.
In April 2024, he was tested by Lyn Kendall, British Mensa’s Gifted Child Consultant, and scored an IQ of 150, officially placing him in the top 0.1% of children worldwide.
Awards & Global Recognition
Jayce’s achievements have already earned him multiple awards:
- British Citizen Youth Award (BCyA) – Recognized at the House of Lords.
- Promising Laureate of the Year – Honored at the House of Commons.
- TruLittle Hero Awards 2024 – Winner in both Academic and Scribe categories.
- Benjamin Zephaniah Future Writers Competition 2024 – Top 10 finalist for his poem “My Mummy”, written at age five.

Setting World Records
The International Book of Records has acknowledged Jayce as the “Youngest Author to Write and Publish the Most Books of a Series Simultaneously.” His next goal is to enter the Guinness World Records, which requires him to sell at least 1,000 copies of each book in his series.
Inspiring the Next Generation
Despite his achievements, Jayce remains humble and passionate about storytelling.
He says:
“I love writing because writing is fun. I like people to read what I write and to use their imagination and write their own stories too.”
Through his work, Jayce hopes to inspire children worldwide to read, write, and dream big—making education more engaging, inclusive, and fun.
At just six years old, Jayce Joyce is not only breaking records but also rewriting the narrative of what young children can achieve. His journey is proof that with support, creativity, and determination, even the youngest voices can inspire the world.
