The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Admission screening exercise for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the university's undergraduate programmes.

Applications are invited from candidates who chose DELSU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and meet the minimum admission requirements prescribed by the university.

DELSU Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027 Admission

Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply for the DELSU Post-UTME screening exercise. However, admission into highly competitive courses may require significantly higher scores and aggregate marks.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must:

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Direct Entry candidates are also eligible to apply provided they possess one of the following qualifications:

  • NCE

  • OND

  • HND

  • First Degree

  • A' Level Certificates

  • Other recognized equivalent qualifications relevant to their chosen course of study.

Registration Period

According to the university, online registration commenced on:

Friday, May 29, 2026

The application portal will close at:

Tuesday, June 30, 2026, by 12:00 midnight. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline.

Registration Fee

Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of:

₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira Only)

Payment should be made through the official DELSU screening portal during the registration process.

How to Apply

Candidates should follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the DELSU Post-UTME portal.

  2. Click on "Post UTME 2026/2027."

  3. Select "Start Form."

  4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.

  5. Complete the application form carefully.

  6. Make payment of the screening fee online.

  7. Upload your passport photograph and required credentials.

  8. Submit the application.

  9. Print the completed application form for future reference.

Important Information for Candidates

Candidates who did not initially choose DELSU as their first-choice institution may still apply, provided they effect a Change of Institution through JAMB and make DELSU their first choice before the registration deadline.

The university has also advised applicants to regularly check their email addresses and phone numbers used during registration, as further information regarding the screening exercise will be communicated through these channels.
