Welcome to the Day 2 live thread! Today, Friday, April 17th, 2026, the second batch of candidates will take on the JAMB UTME. This post is designed for all Day 2 candidates to connect, share real-time updates from their centres, and offer support to one another.

Even if you aren't writing today, you can follow along to see how the exam is progressing nationwide and learn from the experiences of others.

Important Reminders for Day 2 (Friday)

Friday schedules are slightly different at many centres to accommodate religious services. Please double-check your slip and note these essentials:

Give Us Your Live Updates

Are you at your centre right now? We want to hear from you! Before you switch off your phone for biometric verification, please share an update in the comments. To make it useful, include:

  1. Your State.

  2. The Name of the CBT Centre.

  3. The Current Situation: (e.g., "Biometrics are moving fast," "System delay in Session 1," "Everything is calm and orderly").

Your live reports help JAMB officials and technicians identify which centres might need urgent technical support.

Post-Exam: Share the Knowledge

Once you have completed your exam and left the hall:

  • Recall Your Questions: Try to remember a few questions and the options provided.

  • Share Your Experience: We will be launching a dedicated "Day 2 Questions & Experience" thread later today. Come back to discuss how the exam went, the subjects you found easiest/hardest, and how the computer systems functioned.

Resources for Future Days

If your exam is coming up later this weekend or next week, keep your momentum going:

We wish all Day 2 candidates a smooth, hitch-free examination and an excellent result. Stay focused and give it your best!
