Raheemah Azeez, a resolute Nigerian scholar, received the Derby Business School Prize as the Best Student in Business Administration and Management after graduating with honors from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom with a Master of Business Administration MBA.
Through the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, Raheemah was able to complete her MBA with full funding, which included tuition, airfare, a monthly stipend of £1,690, and extra awards for study.
She studied finance for her undergraduate degree at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria before earning her MBA.
Raheemah, who was thankful for the chances she was given, became an example to other African students who were striving for success overseas by sharing her accomplishment.
