In honor of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir festivities, the Federal Government has designated Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, 2025, as public holidays.
On behalf of the Federal Government, Interior Minister Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo released a statement that included this information. Therefore, on Friday, June 6, 2025, and Monday, June 9, 2025, the University will be closed for official and academic activity. On the other hand, employees on special assignments are supposed to show up for work on public holidays.
Therefore, it is requested that all employees report back to work on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, the acting vice-chancellor, wishes the faithful Muslims a joyous and tranquil Sallah. As seen by the killing of rams and distributing the meat to the less fortunate, Jesus exhorted them to keep up the attitude of selflessness and giving.
