The management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has officially extended the 2025/2026 Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening registration. Originally set to close on Friday, September 26, 2025, the exercise will now end on Friday, October 3, 2025.

According to the Registrar, Dr. Bala I. Ahmed II (MNIM, FCAI, FCIM), the extension accommodates candidates who recently received their 2025 NECO results, as well as those resolving course changes, institution changes, or NECO token issues. The University has urged all prospective candidates to seize this final opportunity to complete their registration before the new deadline.
Who Is Eligible?
To participate in the screening exercise, candidates must:
- Have chosen NSUK as their First Choice in the 2025 UTME or DE application.
- Score between 160–200 marks or above in the 2025 UTME.
- Possess a minimum of:
- Lower Credit in ND/NSUK Diploma
- Merit in NCE
- 8 Points in IJMB (for Direct Entry applicants)
- Have five O’level credits (including English and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings.
Candidates who did not initially select NSUK as their first choice must apply for a change of institution via the JAMB Portal to qualify.

How to Apply for NSUK Post-UTME/DE Screening
- Visit the NSUK 2025 Post-UTME Portal.
- Create an account/profile with a valid email address and password.
- Select application type: 2025/2026 POST-UTME.
- Pay the ₦2,000 processing fee online or via any bank.
- Fill in the online form and upload your results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS).
- Print out your Application Summary/Payment Invoice.
Important:
- Both UTME and DE candidates must upload their O’level/A’level results on their JAMB profile at an accredited CBT centre.
- NSUK screening is fully online — there will be no physical exams.
Admission Acceptance on JAMB CAPS
Candidates offered admission on JAMB CAPS have 4 weeks to accept their admission. Failure to do so will lead to deletion of the admission offer and disqualification under the “refusal to accept category.”
Final Note
The NSUK Post-UTME/DE Screening is mandatory. Candidates who fail to register before October 3, 2025 will not be considered for admission.
The University advises all applicants to complete their registration early, monitor their admission status on JAMB CAPS, and strictly follow all requirements.
