The management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) wishes to notify the general public and all UTME/Direct Entry candidates that registration for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE screening exercise has been extended.
Originally scheduled to close on Friday, September 12, 2025, the University has now granted a final two-week extension, and the new closing date is Friday, September 26, 2025.
According to the Registrar, Dr. Bala I. Ahmed II, the extension was approved to accommodate candidates awaiting the release of their 2025 NECO results, as well as those who faced issues such as course/institution changes and NECO token challenges.

Candidates Eligible for NSUK Post UTME/DE Screening
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Have participated in the 2025 UTME or Direct Entry (DE) mode examination.
- Score a minimum of 160–200 marks depending on the chosen course.
- Choose Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) as their first choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Possess at least five (5) O’level credits including English and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
- For Direct Entry (DE), applicants must have:
- A minimum of Lower Credit in ND or NSUK Diploma,
- Merit in NCE, or
- Eight (8) points in IJMB.
Note: Candidates who did not initially select NSUK as their first choice must apply for a change of institution on the JAMB portal before registering.
Mode of Screening
- The NSUK screening exercise will be fully online.
- There will be no physical examination.

How to Apply for NSUK Post UTME/DE Screening
- Visit the NSUK 2025 Post-UTME portal: www.ug.nsuk.edu.ng/application.
- Create an account with a valid email and password.
- Select 2025/2026 Post-UTME application as your application type.
- Login with your details and make a payment of ₦2,000 (processing fee) through the available payment options.
- Input your result details (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS) using the correct scratch card.
- Submit your application and check back after 24 hours to view your screening status.
- Print your Application Summary and Payment Invoice for reference.
Important Notes
- Upload of O’level/A’level Results: Candidates must upload their results on their JAMB CAPS profile at accredited CBT centres.
- Admission Acceptance Timeline: Once offered admission on JAMB CAPS, candidates have 4 weeks to accept. Failure to accept will lead to withdrawal of admission and ineligibility for future consideration.
- Mandatory Screening: Any candidate who fails to register for screening will not be considered for admission.
Closing Date
The final closing date for registration is Friday, September 26, 2025. No further extension will be granted.
