The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the schedule for the physical verification exercise for foreign-trained graduates registered for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream I service year.
This notice applies to foreign-trained prospective corps members whose academic credentials and travel documents are yet to be physically verified.
Verification Dates
The verification exercise will take place over three days:
- Monday, January 12, 2026
- Tuesday, January 13, 2026
- Wednesday, January 14, 2026
Participation is mandatory. NYSC expects all affected candidates to attend without exception.

Verification Centres
Prospective corps members must report to their chosen centres as listed below:
- FCT (Abuja): NYSC Orientation Camp, Kubwa
- Kano: Children’s Playground, Bukavu Military Barracks, Fagge, Airport Road
- Lagos: NYSC Orientation Camp, Iyana-Ipaja
- Enugu: NYSC Secretariat, Abakaliki Road, G.R.A
- Bauchi: Shadawanka Military Barracks, Bauchi
- Osun: NYSC Secretariat, New Ikirun Road, Osogbo
- Rivers: NYSC Secretariat, 40 Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt
- Sokoto: Eagle Officers’ Mess, Giginya Barracks
- Adamawa: NYSC Secretariat, Federal Secretariat Complex, Yola
Documents Required
Candidates must come with the following documents:
- All academic and professional credentials uploaded during online registration
- Nigerian international passport, including residence permit where applicable
- Other international passport(s) for dual citizens
NYSC urges all affected graduates to comply fully with the verification process to avoid issues with mobilization for the 2026 service year.
Candidates are advised to arrive early and ensure all documents are complete before reporting to their centres.
