Mr. Peter Obi, a former presidential candidate for the Labour Party, has once again criticized the Nigerian government for misallocating public funds. In contrast to a personal effort that supports education in Chibok, Borno State.
Speaking in Abuja, Obi said that he had facilitated the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok’s N6 million improvement package. A scientific lab, computers, a solar power source, and a borehole are all included in the contribution. He underlined that funding for education should not be seen as charity but rather as an essential investment in the future of the country.

According to a statement from Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR)’s Ibrahim Umar, Obi recently denounced the Federal Capital Territory Administration’s N39 billion investment in the International Conference Centre (ICC) restoration. Obi said the remodeling was needless, particularly because the nation’s core educational demands are still unfulfilled.
The continuing teachers’ strike in the FCT, which is being caused by unpaid salary, was also denounced by Obi. He went on to say that he had to postpone his intentions to personally deliver the equipment in Chibok because of security concerns, adding that “if a part of Nigeria is too unsafe to visit, then the entire country is unsafe.”
Local politician Dauda Iliya accepted the contribution on behalf of the school, which includes two laser printers and 10 computers. He gave the funders his word that the pupils would profit from the equipment’s efficient utilisation.
