How to Register
All candidates will register online. After purchasing a registration PIN, visit www.waeconline.org.ng to begin the process. The system captures biometric information, which WAEC will use for verification at exam centres.

Candidates can pay the ₦27,000 fee at approved banks or through accredited agents. An additional ₦500 commission applies.
Approved banks include Access Bank, Ecobank, Fidelity Bank, First Bank, FCMB, GTBank, Heritage Bank, Jaiz Bank, Polaris Bank, Stanbic IBTC, Standard Chartered, Sterling Bank, Union Bank, UBA, Unity Bank, WEMA Bank, and Zenith Bank.
Cashless options are also available through platforms such as Bancwize, Bring Africa, Broadshift, Citiserve, Xpress Payment, Paga, PalmPay, Paycom, SystemSpecs, Interswitch, CoralPay, eTranzact, IQ Pay, Cyberspace, Itex, Unified Payments, UBA, Capricorn, and Kudi.
Walk-In Candidates
Candidates who miss the regular deadline may register as Walk-in candidates at least 24 hours before the paper they intend to write. The Walk-in fee is ₦45,000.
Candidates With Disabilities or Support Needs
Candidates with disabilities or those who require functional or support accommodations—such as visual impairment, low vision, hearing difficulties, mobility limitations, or speech conditions—should also complete their registration online and clearly indicate the type of support they require for the examination.
Where to Register
Candidates may visit accredited banks, cybercafés, WAEC offices, or designated WAEC registration points to purchase PINs and complete their enrollment.
Completing the Registration
Candidates must finish their registration within two weeks of first accessing the portal. They should carefully confirm their personal details, such as name, date of birth, subjects, and passport photograph.
After submission, candidates should print their Admission Notice, which serves as their exam identification and includes their Result Checker PIN. WAEC accepts only the UareU DigitalPersona fingerprint scanner for biometric capture.
