• Candidates must log in to the JAMB CAPS Portal to confirm their admission status, accept the offer, and print their admission letter.
• Those who have not uploaded their O’Level results on the JAMB portal should do so immediately. Without this crucial step, the University cannot process their admission.

How to Check Shehu Shagari University Admission List

1. Through JAMB CAPS Portal

Follow the steps below to check your admission status:

1. Visit JAMB CAPS Portal.
2. Login with your JAMB profile username and password.
3. Scroll down and click “Check Admission Status”.
4. Select “Access My CAPS”.
5. Click on Admission Status.
6. Interpret your status:
   • Case 1: “CONGRATULATIONS” → Accept or Reject the admission and wait for further instructions.
   • Case 2: “Admission in Progress” → Be patient; the status will likely change in a few days or weeks.
   • Case 3: “Not Admitted” → Do not lose hope. You might still gain admission in subsequent batches.

Tip: If using a mobile phone, select the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top right corner of your browser and tick “Desktop Site” for a better view.

2. On the School’s Noticeboard

In addition to JAMB CAPS, candidates can also check their admission status on the school’s official noticeboard.
