The College wishes to inform candidates, parents, and guardians that it has officially commenced the National Diploma (ND II) Direct Admission (Recertification) for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT).
In addition, the College is now offering short-term certificate courses in the following programmes:
- Applied Immunology and Vaccine Science
- Phlebotomy
- Mortuary Science
Entry Requirements
Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) Recertification
Eligible candidates include:
- Holders of an Ordinary Diploma (OD) in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Nigerian tertiary institution.
- Candidates with an MLT professional license seeking an academic certificate.
- Applicants must present:
- OD certificate
- MLT license
- GCE/NECO/WAEC with credits in Biology, Chemistry, English, Mathematics, and Physics (maximum of two sittings).

Applied Immunology and Vaccine Science
- Candidates with BMLS or BSc in Biomedical Sciences.
- OD or ND holders in Medical Laboratory Technology with at least one year of laboratory/clinical research experience.
Mortuary Science and Phlebotomy
- Candidates with BMLS or BSc in Biomedical Sciences.
- OD or ND holders in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Mortuary attendants with:
- OD, ND, GCE, NECO, or WAEC (5 credits including Biology, Chemistry, English, Mathematics, and Physics in not more than two sittings).
- Minimum of one year job experience (applies to Mortuary Science applicants only).
How to Apply
- Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000 via Remita:
- Visit Remita.
- Select PAY FGN > choose FCMI ST Jos 0521072020.
- State payment purpose, enter details, and choose your preferred method (debit card, bank, etc.).
- Generate a receipt with the Remita code.
- Present the following at the College for verification/documentation:
- Original credentials
- Passport photograph
- Application form
- Payment receipt

- Closing Date for Application: Friday, October 24, 2025
- Screening/Registration: October 27–29, 2025, by 10:00 am at the College Assembly Hall
