The management of Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, has announced the release of its Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) registration form for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Registration officially begins on Monday, 11th August 2025 and closes at midnight of Sunday, 29th September 2025.

Who Can Apply?

For UTME Candidates

• You must have at least five (5) relevant credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB (SSCE) or equivalent.
• You must have scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME.
• Candidates who did not originally choose SLU as their first choice but wish to study in the University can still apply after making a change of institution on the JAMB portal.

For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

• You must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in ND, or a Merit in NCE, or at least 8 points in IJMB Advanced Level.
• In addition, you must have the required O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects.

How to Apply for SLU Post UTME/DE Screening

Follow these steps carefully:

1. Visit the Portal
   Go to www.slu.edu.ng → Admissions → Online Application, or visit admissions.slu.edu.ng.
2. Login
   • UTME Candidates: Use your UTME number and UTME score.
   • DE Candidates: Use your DE number, state of origin, and gender.
   • Upload a recent passport-sized photograph.
3. Update Your Profile
   Fill in all required details correctly.
4. Upload Results
   • UTME Candidates: Upload your SSCE results (max. two sittings).
   • DE Candidates: Upload both SSCE and A’Level results.
5. Payment
   • Click “Pay Now” to pay with a debit card, or
   • Generate and print the payment schedule for bank payment.
   • Screening fee: ₦2,000 only (exclusive of REMITA charges).
6. Acknowledgement Slip
   After successful payment, generate and print your Acknowledgement Slip.

Screening Details

• Venue: University’s Permanent Site, Kano–Jahun Road, Kafin-Hausa, Jigawa State.
• Time: 9:00 am daily (exact date will be announced later).

Note: Any candidate who fails to register within the stipulated period or misses the screening date will not be considered for admission.
