Summit University, Offa (SUNO) has officially announced the schedule for its 5th and 6th combined convocation ceremonies for the 2025/2026 academic year. The events will run from Wednesday, 3rd December to Saturday, 6th December 2025, which corresponds to 12th to 15th Jumadal Thanni 1447 AH. All activities will hold within and around the campus in Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria.
The convocation celebrates the hard work of graduating students and marks their transition into new academic and professional phases. It also reflects the university’s strong commitment to sound education, character building, and community service. Consequently, families, friends, staff, alumni, and guests are expected to attend the four-day celebration.
Convocation Overview at Summit University
Most formal events will take place at the Alhaja Adiat Abegbe Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, while other venues such as the Senate Chamber, Sports Complex, and Entrepreneurship Centre will host specific sessions.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abiodun Musa Aibin, will coordinate the activities on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Senate, Management, Staff, and Students. In addition, a diverse group of academic leaders and public officials will be present as guests.
The Convocation Lecture will be delivered by Dr (Ts’gye) Rachel T. Leslie from the Catholic University of America. Graduating students, staff, and guests will have the opportunity to gain valuable insight from her message as they prepare for life after school.
