The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the commencement of Direct Entry (DE) online registration for admission into all undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The registration exercise will run from Monday, September 22, 2025, to Friday, October 3, 2025. Candidates with awaiting results are not eligible to apply.

Eligibility for UNILAG Direct Entry Screening
Only candidates who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply:
- Selected University of Lagos as first choice in the 2025/2026 Direct Entry JAMB application.
- Possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O’level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Meet the O’level and DE subject requirements for their chosen course as advertised by JAMB.
- Must be at least 16 years old by October 31, 2025.
Candidates with inconsistent details (Name, Date of Birth, State of Origin, LGA, etc.) across their documents may face disqualification.

How to Apply for UNILAG Direct Entry Screening
- Pay the screening fee of ₦2,000 and processing fee of ₦1,500 (Total: ₦3,500).
- Visit the UNILAG website: www.unilag.edu.ng.
- Click Admissions → Start Fresh Application → Direct Entry Application.
- Log in with your JAMB registration number (username) and surname in lowercase (password).
- Generate and print the payment advice.
- Make payment at any commercial bank or online.
- Return to the portal, click Continue Application, and complete the screening form.
- Upload your O’Level and A’Level results (accepted qualifications include JUPEB, OND, HND, First Degree, NCE, Cambridge A’Level, Baccalaureate, DELF/DALF, MUSON DIP, Trinity College London, etc.).
- Verify your details by clicking Preview, then Submit.
- Print your Direct Entry e-registration slip.
- Submit your slip and credentials to the Admissions Office (Room 174, Senate Building, 1st Floor).
Important Notes
- Candidates who do not participate in the online registration will not be considered for admission.
- Former UNILAG students whose admissions were withdrawn for poor academic performance or absence may reapply, but only to a different course/programme.
- Expelled students are not eligible for re-admission.
- The University has a zero-tolerance policy on drug abuse. Any student who tests positive before or after admission will have their admission withdrawn immediately.
