UNILAG JUPEB 2025/2026 Supplementary Admission

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has re-opened the application portal for the School of Foundation Studies (SFS) 2025/2026 Supplementary Admission Exercise. The sales of forms began on Thursday, September 25, 2025 and will end on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

Successful candidates in the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) exam will qualify for Direct Entry admission into 200 level at UNILAG through JAMB or gain admission into partner institutions such as the University of Bedfordshire, University of Central Lancashire, University of the West of England, De Montfort University, University of Birmingham (UK), and Soochow University (China).

Note: The programme is non-residential and currently has no facilities for visually impaired candidates.

UNILAG JUPEB Subject Combinations

The one-year intensive programme follows the JUPEB syllabus. Candidates must carefully choose a subject combination relevant to their desired degree course. Options include:

• Arts & Humanities: CRS/IRS – Music – Literature in English, CRS/IRS – History – Literature, French – Igbo/Yoruba – Literature, Government – Literature, etc.
• Social Sciences/Management: Accounting – Business Studies – Economics, Economics – Government – Literature, Economics – Geography – Government, etc.
• Sciences: Biology – Chemistry – Physics, Chemistry – Physics – Mathematics, Economics – Mathematics – Physics, Biology – Chemistry – Economics, etc.

Admission Requirements

• Minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at a single sitting in SSCE/WASSCE, GCE, or NECO.
• Candidates must present results obtained before registration.
• The University maintains zero tolerance for drug abuse, sexual harassment, cultism, examination malpractice, and other anti-social behaviors.

How to Apply for UNILAG JUPEB Admission 2025/2026

1. Visit foundation.unilag.edu.ng and read the guidelines.
2. Go to applications.unilag.edu.ng, select School of Foundation Studies, and complete the Pre-Application Form to obtain a Payment Reference Number (PRN).
3. Pay ₦35,000 (excluding bank charges) at any commercial bank or online via Remita.
4. Return to the portal, log in with your PRN (username) and surname (password), complete the form, and print two copies.
5. Examination Pass will be available online one week before the exam.

UNILAG JUPEB Entrance Examination

• Mode: Online CBT (Computer-Based Test)
• Venue: Distance Learning Institute (DLI), UNILAG
• Subjects: English, Mathematics (20 questions each), plus 3 other relevant subjects (15 questions each) = 85 questions in 1 hour.
• Result: Merit admission list will be released on the University website.
