UNIMAID 25th Combined Convocation Ceremony

The University of Maiduguri has officially released the schedule for its 25th Combined Convocation Ceremony, which will also mark the Golden Jubilee celebration of the institution. The historic event will take place on Friday, 28th November 2025, at the Convocation Square, University of Maiduguri.

This announcement applies to all graduates from the 2021/2022, 2022/2023, and 2023/2024 academic sessions.

Collection of Academic Gowns

All graduating students — both undergraduate and postgraduate — must collect their academic gowns from their various Faculties and Colleges.
To obtain the gown, each graduate must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 at the UNIMAID Microfinance Bank.

  • Gown Collection Begins: Monday, 17th November 2025
  • Venue: Graduates’ respective Faculties and Colleges

After payment, graduates should proceed immediately to collect their gowns, as the university expects large numbers ahead of the ceremony.
