Update: The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has extended the 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE pre-admission screening to Tuesday, September 30, 2025. If you haven’t activated or completed your screening, do it now—no further extension is planned.

Who Can Apply
- UTME candidates:
- Selected UNIMAID as First Choice in 2025 JAMB
- Minimum JAMB score: 150 (some courses require higher—check UNIMAID site)
- Five (5) O’Level credits including English and Mathematics in ≤2 sittings
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates:
- First Choice: UNIMAID
- Lower Credit/Merit in ND/HND or 8 points in NCE/IJMB, or Second Class Lower (or higher) from a recognized institution
- Must have the right subject combinations per the 2025 JAMB Brochure

Mandatory O’Level Upload
Upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS. At verification, UNIMAID accepts:
- Result print-outs downloaded directly from WAEC/NECO/NABTEB websites, or
- Photocopies of original certificates
Application Fee
- ₦2,000 (Post-UTME/DE screening fee)
How to Apply (Step-by-Step)
- Visit www.unimaid.edu.ng and click “Post UTME Screening 2025.”
- Login
- Username: Your JAMB Registration Number
- Password: umstad@2025 (change it after first login)
- Upload a clear passport photo (≤ 200KB) and set a new password.
- Enter your phone number and email, then click Generate to pay ₦2,000.
- Fill in your bio-data, A/Level or O’Level results, and upload required documents.
- Submit your application and keep a copy of your acknowledgment/receipt.
Changed to UNIMAID recently and can’t log in? Email admissions@unimaid.edu.ng with your complaint.
Important Notes
- First Choice only: Screening is open to candidates who chose UNIMAID during UTME/DE registration.
- No test: The University will not conduct physical screening or aptitude tests.
- CAPS matters: Keep checking JAMB CAPS for admission decisions and accept promptly when offered.
