University of Ibadan (UI) 2025/2026 Admission List is Out

The University of Ibadan (UI) has released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. This list contains the names of candidates who gained provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes.

If you participated in the admission screening exercise, you can now check your admission status through the JAMB CAPS portal.

To confirm your admission, follow these steps carefully:

1. Visit the JAMB E-Facility Portal.
2. Log in with your JAMB email and password.
3. Scroll down and click “Check Admission Status.”
4. Select “Access my CAPS.”
5. Click “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.

What the JAMB CAPS Messages Mean

• ADMISSION OFFERED ✅
  JAMB has approved your admission. You should accept or reject the offer immediately.
• ADMISSION IN PROGRESS (AIP) ⏳
  UI has recommended you, and JAMB is currently processing final approval.
• RECOMMENDED 📑
  Your school forwarded your name, but JAMB must still verify your details.
• NOT ADMITTED ❌
  You are not on the current list. However, the process is ongoing, so check again later.
• PENDING 🔄
  Your application is still under review, and no final decision has been made.

Next Steps for Admitted Students

Once admitted, you should:

• Send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
• After accepting, print your JAMB Admission Letter. You will need it for clearance and registration at UI.

Many candidates checking on their phones only see the CAPS welcome page without the admission option. To fix this problem:

• Open the Chrome browser.
• Go to Settings and select Request Desktop Site.
• Refresh the page to view the complete CAPS dashboard.
