1. Cross-check Your Details

All candidates must carefully review the attached Senate list for:

  • Correct spelling of names
  • Accurate date of graduation
  • Other personal particulars

Any error left uncorrected before upload to the NYSC portal will prevent registration at the NYSC orientation camp.

2. For Candidates With Outstanding Issues

If your name had issues with JAMB Registration Numbers in previous batches and you could not register, forward the following to the Careers Services Centre, Office of the Registrar, or via email:

  • Your Statement of Result
  • Your JAMB Admission Letter

Candidates who had previously submitted these documents should still verify their details on the new list.

3. Statement of Result Validity

If your Statement of Result has expired, visit the Examinations Unit for rectification immediately.

4. JAMB Matriculation List Confirmation

Ensure your name appears on the JAMB matriculation list. Only candidates on this list are recognized as bona fide students from accredited institutions. If your name is missing, you will not be mobilized for NYSC.

5. NIN Requirement

The National Identification Number (NIN) is now compulsory for NYSC online registration. Confirm that the name on your NIN matches exactly with the one on your Statement of Result.

Reporting Errors

  • Report all errors, omissions, or discrepancies to the Careers Services Centre for immediate correction.
  • Complaints can also be sent via email to: careers.registry@unn.edu.ng (Attention: Senior Deputy Registrar, Career Services Centre).
