The management of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has issued an urgent notice to all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who selected the institution as their first choice in the 2025/2026 admission exercise.

According to a statement signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Blossom E. Okorie, the University’s Central Admissions Committee (CAC) has finalized the approved cut-off marks for various programmes. However, during the process, it was discovered that many candidates have not uploaded their O’Level results on the JAMB portal.
Deadline for Upload
Candidates must visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre to re-upload their O’Level results on or before:

Failure to comply may delay or even prevent UNIUYO from processing and forwarding candidates’ names to JAMB for admission approval.
Why This Step Is Important
The University reminded applicants that due to a recent system glitch, JAMB had earlier dropped all previously uploaded WAEC results. This means that even if you had uploaded your results earlier, you must still repeat the process.
“This directive should be treated with utmost urgency and seriousness,” the Registrar emphasized.
What Candidates Should Do
- Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
- Re-upload your O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent).
- Confirm that your details reflect correctly on the JAMB CAPS portal.
- Keep a copy of the confirmation slip for reference.
Final Reminder
This urgent exercise is mandatory for all candidates seeking admission into UNIUYO for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who fail to act before the deadline risk being excluded from the University’s admission list.
✅ Stay proactive, double-check your JAMB profile, and don’t wait until the last day.
