The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has released the Supplementary Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who applied for admission and participated in the screening exercise can now check and confirm their admission status on the UNN portal.
Important Instructions for Admitted Candidates
To fully secure your admission, please follow the steps below without delay:
1. Upload Your O’Level Results
Visit any JAMB-approved CBT Centre to upload your O’Level results if you have not done so already.
This step is very important because UNN can only process your admission after the upload reflects on JAMB CAPS.
2. Change of Course (If Applicable)
Some candidates received admission into a different course from the one they originally applied for.
In such cases:
- Go to an accredited CBT Centre.
- Complete a Change of Course to the course you were offered.
- Print your updated admission status and submit it to the UNN Admissions Office.

This ensures that JAMB recognizes your admission properly.
3. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS
- Log in to JAMB CAPS.
- Click “Accept Admission.”
If you do not accept, JAMB will treat your admission as declined, and you may lose your spot.
4. Pay Your Acceptance Fee
- Visit: unnportal.edu.ng
- Log in with your JAMB Registration Number.
- Generate a Remita Invoice.
- Pay ₦30,000 acceptance fee at any commercial bank or UNN Microfinance Bank.
- Return to the portal and complete the Acceptance Form.
5. Complete Online Registration
After payment, proceed with:
- Departmental clearance
- School fees payment
- Course registration
This finalizes your admission.
Important Notice
UNN emphasizes that this admission is provisional. At any time — even in final year — the university will withdraw the admission if a candidate is found not to meet the required academic standards or entry conditions.

How to Check Admission on JAMB CAPS (Quick Guide)
- Go to: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
- Log in with your JAMB profile details
- Click Check Admission Status
- Switch your browser to Desktop Mode
- View your status and act accordingly:
- If Admitted → Accept immediately.
- If Admission in Progress → Check again later.
- If Not Admitted → Stay patient; more names may still be added.
