YSU Admission List 2025/2026 is Out

This is to inform the general public, especially UTME aspirants of Yobe State University (YSU), that the YSU admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session has officially been released. Candidates who participated in the screening exercise can now check their admission status online.

How to Check YSU Admission List on JAMB CAPS

At the moment, candidates can only confirm their admission through the JAMB CAPS portal. Please follow the steps below carefully:

1. Visit the JAMB CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
2. Login with your JAMB profile username and password.
3. Scroll down and click on Check Admission Status.
4. Select Access my CAPS.
5. On your browser, click the three dots (⋮) at the top right corner and enable Desktop Site for full display.
6. Click on Admission Status.

Your status will display one of the following:

• Case 1: CONGRATULATIONS – Accept or Reject your admission and wait for further instructions.
• Case 2: Admission in Progress – Be patient and check back after a few days.
• Case 3: Not Admitted – Don’t panic. You may still be considered, so keep checking.

How to Check Admission Status on YSU Portal

The admission list will soon be uploaded to the Yobe State University Admission Portal. Once available, candidates can:

1. Visit the YSU Admission Portal.
2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and RRR Code.
3. Proceed to Print your Admission Letter.

Clearance Requirements for Newly Admitted Students

All admitted candidates should get the following documents ready for clearance:

• JAMB Original Result Slip (UTME candidates only)
• JAMB Original Admission Letter
• University Admission Letter
• Original Credentials (SSCE/WAEC/NECO results)
• Indigene Certificate
• Birth/Declaration of Age Certificate
• A’level Results (for Direct Entry candidates)

Candidates who have received an admission notification from JAMB but cannot find their names on the YSU list should contact the admission office for clarification.

• Log in to JAMB CAPS to Accept or Reject your admission.
• Print your JAMB Admission Letter and YSU Admission Letter for clearance.
• Stay updated via the YSU portal and official school communication channels for clearance schedules.
