FG condemns exam attack on Ondo vice principal at WASSCE.

According to reports, thugs hired by a student’s parents attacked Mr. Rotifa, the vice principal of Complete Child Development College in Akure, Ondo State, after he enforced exam regulations during the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The Federal Government has denounced the attack.

The government called the act deplorable and encouraged law authorities to fully investigate and punish those guilty, according to a statement issued Tuesday by Folasade Boriowo, Director of Press and Public Relations for the Federal Ministry of Education.

“Any student found engaging in malpractice will face appropriate sanctions, and any parent or guardian complicit in such acts will be prosecuted”.

The ministry reaffirmed its strong support for Mr. Rotifa and other educators nationwide who maintain academic integrity.
