The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), through its Directorate of Open, Distance and E-Learning (ODEL), has officially announced the commencement of the First Continuous Assessment (CA1) for all registered courses under the programme.

In a circular signed by the Head of Administration, ODEL, Mr. Andrew T. Hinga, the university fixed the CA1 to run from Monday, 26 January 2026 to Saturday, 31 January 2026. During this period, students will complete their assessments strictly through the university’s online examination platform.
CA1 to Hold Fully Online
Importantly, FULafia will conduct the CA1 entirely online in line with the structure of its open and distance learning system. As a result, students can participate from their locations, provided they have stable internet access and valid login credentials.
To ensure a smooth exercise, the Directorate emphasized early and adequate preparation. Specifically, the memo urged relevant authorities to promptly inform course lecturers and ensure they prepare assessment materials on time. In addition, lecturers are expected to upload questions, supervise the process, and support students throughout the assessment window.
