Kogi State Polytechnic Announces Second Semester Resumption Date (2025/2026)

Students and staff of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja have received the official resumption schedule for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a circular from the Office of the Registrar, signed by Mrs. Omaidu A. Comfort, Deputy Registrar (Senior Establishment), the institution has fixed Thursday, 27th February 2026 as the resumption date.

Academic Activities Begin 2 March

While students and staff are expected to return on 27 February 2026, the Polytechnic confirmed that:

Lectures and academic activities will begin: Monday, 2nd March 2026

The schedule applies across all campuses of the institution

Guidance for Students and Staff

Students should return to campus before lectures start so they can:

Complete outstanding registration where necessary

Settle accommodation and departmental requirements

Prepare for lectures and semester activities

Similarly, staff should resume duties and prepare for teaching and other academic responsibilities ahead of the official commencement of lectures.
