GSU Opens Inter-University and Faculty Transfer Applications (2026)

The management of Gombe State University (GSU) has announced the commencement of applications for Inter-University and Intra/Inter-Faculty transfer.

Interested candidates can now apply online through the official transfer portal.

Application Fee

The Inter/Intra-Faculty Transfer application form attracts a non-refundable fee of ₦20,000, payable via the University payment platform.

Application Period

The transfer portal will remain open within the following dates:

Opening Date: Wednesday, 25 February 2026

Closing Date: Monday, 9 March 2026

Candidates should complete their applications before the deadline because late submissions will not be considered.

Important Requirements

Applicants must complete these steps:

Submit the application online through the University portal after payment

Forward their academic transcript directly to the Office of the Registrar via:

registrar@gsu.edu.ng

kanadi@gsu.edu.ng

Submission of transcripts is mandatory. Therefore, applications without transcripts will not be processed.

Key Guidelines

Applications will be reviewed based on available vacancies.

Relevant departments, faculties, and the University Admission Committee must approve transfers where required.

Late applications will not be entertained.

Restricted Programmes

There is no available space for transfer into the following programmes:

MBBS

Nursing

Law

Students are strongly advised not to apply for these programmes.

Candidates should follow all guidelines carefully to ensure a successful transfer application.
