About the Event

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Victor O. Adetimirin, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Staff, and Students of Edo State University, Iyamho, warmly invites the University community and the general public to the 11th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

This important academic event will formally welcome newly admitted students into the University.

Ceremony Details

Date: Thursday, 26 February 2026

Time: 11:00 a.m.

Venue: Aliko Dangote Auditorium

Matriculating students must assemble for the academic procession by 10:00 a.m. prompt.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating

Matriculation marks the official induction of fresh students into the University community. During the ceremony, students will take the matriculation oath and formally become members of Edo State University.

The University looks forward to celebrating this milestone with parents, guardians, and invited guests as the newest cohort begins its academic journey.
