FUTA Top-Up Degree Programmes 2025/2026 Admission Form

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is now inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Top-Up (Degree Conversion) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. These programmes give HND holders and Third Class degree graduates the opportunity to upgrade their qualifications and enhance career prospects.

1. School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT)

• B.Agric.Tech in:
  • Agricultural Extension and Communication Technology (AEC)
  • Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE)
  • Animal Production and Health (APH)
  • Crop, Soil and Pest Management (CSP)
  • Ecotourism and Wildlife Management (EWM)

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the FUTA Top-Up programme, candidates must:

• Possess at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
• Hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Third Class Degree in relevant fields.
• Present either an NYSC discharge certificate or an exemption letter.

Application Procedure

Interested applicants should:

1. Visit the University website: www.futa.edu.ng.
2. Generate an invoice for the application form fee of ₦20,000 via the Remita platform, payable at any bank.
3. After successful payment, complete and submit the online application form through the University portal.

Application Deadline

• Opening Date: Monday, 8th September 2025
• Closing Date: Friday, 17th October 2025
