FUTA Extends Post-UTME/DE Registration Deadline 2026/2027

Federal University of Technology, Akure has extended the deadline for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration for the 2026/2027 academic session.

This update is for candidates who want to apply for undergraduate Admission into FUTA and have not completed their online registration.

FUTA Post-UTME/DE New Deadline 2026

The new deadline for FUTA Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration is Friday, 31 July 2026.

Candidates who are yet to apply should use this extension to complete their registration before the portal closes.

Applicants should not wait until the last day because network issues, payment delay or wrong details may affect their application.

FUTA Post-UTME Cut-Off Mark

Candidates applying for FUTA admission must have scored at least 180 in the 2026 UTME.

Applicants must also meet the O’Level and course requirements for their chosen programme.

Who Can Apply?

UTME candidates who scored 180 and above can apply.

Direct Entry candidates who chose Federal University of Technology, Akure as their first-choice institution can also apply.

Applicants must have at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

Candidates must also be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.

FUTA Post-UTME/DE Screening Fee

The screening fee is ₦2,000 only.

Candidates should pay through the approved Remita process after generating the required payment code.

Do not pay money into private accounts or to anyone claiming to guarantee admission.

How to Apply

Candidates should complete their registration through the official FUTA application process.

Applicants can click here to visit the FUTA website and follow the admission instructions.

Candidates should generate the payment code, pay the screening fee, return to the portal, complete the form and print out the completed registration slip.

Before submitting, applicants should check their name, UTME registration number, phone number, email address, course selected and O’Level details.

Important Notice on O’Level Upload

All candidates must upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS on or before Friday, 31 July 2026.

Candidates who fail to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS may not be considered for admission.

Applicants should visit an accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office if their result has not been uploaded.

The deadline extension is an opportunity for candidates who have not completed their registration.

Do not use this extension as a reason to delay again.
