The UBTH Institute of Health Technology Admission Form is Out.

For admission to the following courses in the 2025–2026 academic year, appropriately eligible applicants are encouraged to apply to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City’s Institute of Health Sciences and Technology.

Courses Offered by the UBTH Institute of Health Technology.Management of Health Information. Length of Course: ND Environmental Health Technology Course Length: ND 2 years HND Ortho Cast Technology Course Length: ND 2 years HND 2 years Dispensing Optics Course Duration: ND; 2 years Biomedical Engineering Technology Course Length: ND; 2 years Community Health Officers Course: Two Years of HND Time frame: 1–2 years (BSc or Chew).

𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 Qualification.

1. Candidates must have at least five credit passes in the English language and mathematics sections of the WASSCE, NECO, or GCE O/L in no more than two (2) sittings. Biology, physics, and chemistry. NABTEB-obtained subjects are suitable for the programs.
2. For Environmental Health Technology, it is appropriate to use health sciences rather than biology.
3. A passing grade in any of the following disciplines would be advantageous for applicants to the Biomedical Engineering Technology course: technical drawing, fine art, basic electrical, auto mechanics, and woodworking.
