Over 3,000 people are being investigated by JAMB for digital fraud.

Professor Is-haq Oloyede, the JAMB Registrar, claims that over 3,000 applicants are now being investigated for their participation in a variety of sophisticated cheating schemes.

There has been some concerning rise in digital test fraud during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME has alarmed the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB.

Employing qualified people to enter test rooms instead of real applicants is known as “mercenary pairing.
